In Support Of Sample Sale Review
, New York, NY
Head to the small showroom underneath In Support Of for great discounts on hard or impossible-to-find lines.
If you are looking for the best deals, check out the $25 rack of K by Kotoba samples. The line is the result of a collaboration between the Japanese brand Kotoba and Anthropologie as a way to highlight Kotoba’s unique knitwear technology. Their clothes are literally seamless—they are made all in one piece in order to minimize waste and promote comfort. Their factories are also used by big-name brands such as The Row, so the $25 dresses, skirts, and sweaters are real bargains.
Other highlights include a $50 dress by Mandarin & General, a bold $150 dress from Hareb Ison, and an amazing embroidered dress from Harare. Be sure to check out the jackets from Steven Tai; they are the only store to carry him in the Americas. The tiny showroom also manages to fit in pieces from Wood Wood, William Okpro, Karolyn Pho, Daniela Kallmeyer, Nomia, and H. Frederikson.
There is one individual changing room, but sales associates were also taking customers up to the main store. Be sure to chat with the showroom attendants about the lines; they are very friendly and knowledgeable. The sale runs through Friday, July 10th.
