The Stylish City launched in 2007 with a goal to make women better shoppers, regardless of their budget. Throughout the years we changed some things but always kept our fun, witty voice with a focus on being an objective fashion compass for the savvy New Yorker.
We established our reputation within the NYC shopping arena by publishing up to date listings of sales events and attending several sample sales each week. Our no- holds-barred sample sale reviews — letting users know which sales are worth the wear on their Giuseppe Zanottis — became online essentials for the stylish and value-minded New Yorker.
In 2013, we are shifting toward a new type of website that combines fashion news and editorial content with practical web applications.
The Stylish City has set out to leverage the power of images, content, community and digital, in order to create a trusted collaborative hub for consumers, brands and retailers.
Going forward our goal continues to be making women better shoppers, but instead of doing it exclusively through our editorials and published experiences, we are now introducing a path of discovery and channels of direct communication between retailers and consumers.
