The New York Uniform
Bring Back the Black!
, New York, NY
As I pondered my next post, dreaming of diaphanous one-shouldered gowns, safari-inspired button-ups, and paint-splattered silk dresses, I thought about what I ACTUALLY wear. Me, myself, and I, a self-proclaimed New Yorker, wear mostly…BLACK. Black Chanel bags, black skinny jeans, black high top converse, black buttery soft leather jackets, black James Perse tees… So I decided to devote an entire post to the most wearable color ever. Oh, boohoo it’s almost spring, but in New York, even in the middle of summer, black is always chic for day and night. Just pull out the brown platforms and straw fedoras for day, and the chunky gold jewelry and Louboutins for night.
