As we usher in the “ber” months, things are starting to heat up in the sample sale market. This week’s biggest event is probably the Alexander McQueen sample sale — the first of its kind in five years — which has everyone buzzing.

Also on our list are sample sales that feature spectacular home goods (Orrefors Kosta Boda and Artek), a streetwear sample sale (Desigual) and an activewear sample sale (Paragon Sports).

Orrefors Kosta Boda Moving Sample Sale

Nab up to 70% off the retail price on floor samples at the Orrefors Kosta Boda Moving Sample Sale. The sale started last Tuesday and runs through the 24th of this month. For those unfamiliar with the brand, Orrefors Kosta Boda specializes in handmade, high quality glass objects that will elevate any room in your home. Sale teasers include crystal votives and candleholders for $5.25 to $67.50 (orig. $17.5 – $225), and crystal bowls, vases and drinkware for $10 to $300 (orig. $50 to $1000).

Alexander McQueen Sample Sale

The upcoming Alexander McQueen sample sale has us feeling particularly squeal-y. First of all, it’s the master of design Alexander McQueen. Secondly, this is the first public sample sale the brand’s hosted in five years. Basically, it’s a big deal and you better be there. Shoppers will find womenswear, menswear, and accessories marked down. We expect long lines, so fuel up on some coffee and pencil in a decent chunk of time so you don’t feel rushed.

Paragon Sports Warehouse Sale

Get a head start on those new year’s resolutions by picking up a few things at the Paragon Sports Warehouse Sale. The event features 50% to 80% off activewear, footwear and other athletic accessories by top brands, including Nike, Adidas, Under Armour and Rawlings. There will also be a limited selection of items from Spyder, Helly Hansen and Burton.

The Artek Sample Sale boasts up to a whopping 90% off furniture, lighting and accessories for your home. Artek is known for its retro-meets-modern interior decor. Think clean lines, unconventional shapes, and the sort of accent pieces that’ll make guests beg you to tell them where you purchased from. The sale runs Wednesday through Saturday and includes discontinued items, showroom floor samples and overstock.
