This rite of passage in every fashionistas life has come and gone, but the overall experience was important enough that I feel like it still deserves to be mentioned. This sale does occur at least twice a year so this buzz isn’t completely to satisfy my need to spill about the great sale- you can hit it up yourself in a few months.

The YSL gals wouldn’t let me snap any photos but you know what Yves bags, shoes and frocks look like- right?

I kept popping by the sale hoping to slip in and out quickly enough to return to work without being missed but the hour long line outside prevented me from discreetly scoring a Muse bag like I had just run downstairs for a latte. So due to lack of time (and lack of patience) I waited until the last day of the sale to head over and only waited about 20 minutes. This decision had its perks and consequences.

Since I waited until the last minute there wasn’t quite as much left as there was the first few days; the sizes and styles were limited. However, the prices were considerably dropped in the last few hours from the already should-be-illegally low prices.

Bags: $50

Shoes: $50-80

Pants: $50-100

Dresses: $100

I didn’t see a Muse anywhere and no one was willing to comment on whether or not they originally carried any. But refusing to comment can only mean one thing- right? Guilty as charged! Next year let’s go together, k?
