What to Pack for My Vacation?

Over the years, Roxie and I have planned a lot of trips we’ve never been able to take. Freshman year, we talked about trekking through Tibet. Sophomore year, we swore we’d get to the South of France. Junior year we tried to get to New Zealand and senior year we planned a trip that would start in Mexico, take us through Guatemala, El Salvador, and Panama, and end in Colombia.

Well, this summer, Roxie and I are finally taking a trip together: Palermo, Sicily. I’ve been dying to go ever since Noelle came back, gushing all about it, and poor Roxie would sell her kidneys for a vacation. So we’re off two sunny Sicily for two whole weeks!

The only question is what do we pack? Well, according to my sources, it doesn’t matter where you’re going: dress like you’re going on an African safari. A belted shirtdress gives you a casual, yet sexy look. Or pair cuffed khaki shorts with a white blouse. Colors like khaki or espressoare definitely in right now. And it’s probably the easiest outfit you can throw together. You’re an intrepid explorer at heart–so dress like one! Ay, dios mio, Palermo, I can’t wait!
