Ultra Moisturizing Lotion at an Ultra Affordable Price
, New York, NY

Because the dry winter weather likes to wreak general havoc on my skin, I was eager to try this product out and see what it would do for me. The Sally Hansen 18 Hour Protective Hand Creme claims to, “Immediately soothe(s) & hydrate(s) dry, rough hands.” Well, my hands weren’t really that bad, but I’m very pro-management of things before they get that way, you know?
When I applied this I noticed a distinct citrusy scent. But that scent faded rather quickly, and I was able to put on perfume without the smells combating for presence. A little of this product went a long way, which was nice, because I hate to have to use a ton of a product to achieve results – since that means I’ll have to run out and buy more right away.
Instantly, my hands felt smoother. The problem was, though – that I didn’t remember I had the lotion on, and through the course of the day I probably washed my hands at least four times (or more?) so the lotion was washed off, ergo taking away the 18 hour claim for me. I suggest you use this as a nighttime lotion, applying it at night so it can soak it properly.
The product has shea butter (I love this stuff), grape seed oil, and the Vitamins A, E, and C. Even though I washed the product off, it did seem to seep in and really moisturize my cuticles. I have noticed a definite improvement in them – and they are usually a troublezone for me.
This is one of the best lotions I’ve used, especially for the price. You can buy it for $4.76 at Harmondiscount.com.
Ciao for now,
Jessica
