Target for your furry friend

The actual “brick and mortar” Target stores have this awesome dollar section – well, sometimes you’ll find things for two or three dollars, but either way it’s uber-cheap. You can find all kinds of trendy, inexpensive items including cute pet accessories! Unfortunately, their online store doesn’t have this section, but it still does have adorable and inexpensive finds for your furry friend.

At this time of year, travel is on the minds of a significant number of people, and often that means leaving your pet behind. But it doesn’t have to!  If you’re going by car, you can make your puppy more comfy (and your vehicle less messy!) with a backseat pet blanket. Or if they prefer to sit up front, put them in a special seat just for them!

If you’re flying, you can carry them on if they’re small enough – in a tote color-coordinated to match your outfit, jacket, luggage – you name it!  If your dog will have to be stowed below, be sure to check your airline’s size requirements, and then make sure you get a spacious, comfy, traveling crate.

Once you get to your destination, you’ll be glad you have your canine companion with you!
