I found heaven and it’s located on 40^th Street, just on the outskirts of Bryant Park. The 4^th Floor airy loft with gigantic windows that over looks the park, houses the most luscious cashmere and cotton designs a girl could ask for. The White + Warren Sample Sale drew in cashmere crazed females that rushed through the small space upon the 8AM kickoff, grabbing all that their arms could carry.

The main attraction of the sale is an L shaped form of tables with piles of heavenly soft sweaters. On the other side of the table stands sweet and informative White + Warren employees, ready to find the size you seek upon falling in love with a displayed piece. Among items on these tables are PJ worth long and short tee shirts (one for $25, two for $30, three for $40), in colors such as heather grey, navy blue, olive, white and taupe heather.

Moving down the line is a great selection of crew neck, v-neck and cable knit cashmere sweaters for a very reasonable $100 each. My favorites of the cashmere assortment were a Strawberry Red V-Neck ($100), Side Tie Cashmere Topper in Ivory and Black ($85), a Parchment Coral Stripe Bateau Neck Sweater ($100) and a Turquoise Crew Neck ($100).

Some similarly (but not quite as) soft and beautiful tops were the Beige Mari Striped Keyhole Crewneck ($40), Admiral White Hand Painted Stripped Crewneck ($40).

For a toss on option be sure to try on the long, pastel Cashmere Trapeze Dusters ($100), namely in Light Turquoise and Peacock Heather Cable.

Before heading to the lusted after cashmere scarves and wraps, show some love to the stripes! The Buff Navy Stripe V-Neck Sweater ($40) is to die for and perfect for your upcoming vacation. Next to it was one lone soldier, a gorgeous Cape Navy Short Sleeve Zip Sweater ($40) that will haunt my dreams in punishment for not taking it home.

The wraps and scarves were plentiful and elegant. The Pale Pink Wrap and Zebra Stripe Wrap ($150) were among the best looking options and the perfect accessory to the loungewear worthy Medium Grey Midi Dress (also in khaki green, $40) and the Taupe Heather Ballet Neck Dress ($40).

A half-hour into the sale things were looking slight. Ladies were toting away cashmere by the truck load. Price slashing seemed to be something to look forward to in the upcoming hours, as the Short Sleeve Cashmere Cable Knit Sweaters were marked down to $50 as I was exiting.

$100 later I left with two soft cotton sweaters and tank and can say I am taking a piece of heaven home with me – you can too if you skedaddle and race over to the White + Warren Sample Sale!

Last season, this sale was a hit amongst shoppers, namely wowed by the styles of newcomer Lyn Devon. Her sale pieces were from her current collection but at rock bottom prices. The quality and freshness of her designs are definitely worth a peek. Have your workweek closet updated and ready to go? Everyone dreads Monday mornings, but if you have a successful shopping week behind you, a closet full of new clothing and a bright, trendy new outfit to wear to the office in the morning, things can become a bit more tolerable.
