ABOUT:
Bhoomki was founded five years ago by fashion designer Swati Argade. For years, she eponymously designed, manufactured, and distributed ethically produced women’s collections made from Indian artisan fabrics. After becoming disillusioned with the seasonal fashion designing/buying cycle, Swati left the industry for a few years, only to reinvigorate her founding mission as a designer: To make ethically fashioned, high-quality, low-quantity collections for her customers, not trend-driven clothes worn for a single season. This inspired Swati to open her first shop, Bhoomki, featuring the best brands in ethical fashion, and now this December ethical furnishings at Bhoomki Home.
