Amazon expands Prime Wardrobe

Amazon Fashion is extending its invite-only Prime Wardrobe program to more Prime customers, the company told Retail Dive in an email on Thursday. The program, which allows shoppers to order and try clothes without paying first, hasn’t yet officially launched, a spokesperson said. Invitations appear to be easy to get.

Glossier to Build Second Permanent Store Outside of New York

Despite constantly generating new exciting retail pop-ups, Glossier only has one brick-and-mortar store. No, it’s not the plush, all-red perfume one, or the chicken-and-waffles-and-eyeshadow location – it’s a showroom on the sixth floor of an otherwise discreet Nolita building. But today, the millennial makeup giant announced that it’s launching a permanent store in Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue.

Hermès Plays a Hipster Tune (Published 2018)

On Thursday evening, the ground floor of the Madison Avenue Hermès men’s store underwent something of a redesign. Ordinarily, silk ties hang from the oak-colored walls. Instead, there were only records, which had been placed in sleeves matched to the patterns of the brand’s scarves. By the doors were Pioneer turntables and JVC headphones.

Sneak peek: Nordstrom opens in NYC with first-ever men’s store

NEW YORK – The saying goes that if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. Nordstrom is about to find out how hard that is. On April 9, 2018, members of the press got an private tour of its newest New York City retail endeavor, a 47,000 square-foot, three-level men’s store on 57th Street and Broadway that opens to the public on April 12.
