Jack Rogers Vintage’s flagship store has been open on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for a year and a half. They may still be newbies to the block, but Jack Rogers Vintage is no stranger to the fashion industry. The brand has successfully been in business for decades thanks to the late fashion icon Jackie O, who first put them on the map in the 60’s when she became a fan of their hand crafted Navajo sandals. The former first lady was photographed numerous times looking fabulous in her various pairs of Navajos, which resulted in Jack Rogers Vintage’s instant success. The rest is history.

Today, Jack Rogers Vintage’s Manhattan store appropriately sits a mere two blocks from Jackie O’s former abode, drawing in passing posh Upper East Siders who crave a fix of colorful and vibrant clothing. Their fan base ranges from southern women, who wear the beach-y clothing all year round, to the Hamptons and vacation bound New Yorkers looking for a pop of color and cozy yet cool sandals. “We see steady foot traffic in the mornings and then between the hours of 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. when moms are heading to pick up their kids from school,” Kristine Space, Jack Rogers Vintage’s Store Manager, tells.

Beginning next Thursday, July 26th Jack Rogers Vintage will offer up to 70% off spring clothing, sandals, and past season’s designs at their sample sale. Among the cheery spring apparel that will be available for a 50% discount is the Pleat Front Skirt  ($122.50, orig. $245, pictured), the Navy Zip Front Cardigan Sweater ($115, orig. $239, pictured), their Drawstring Dresses in coral and navy ($147.50, orig. $295, pictured) and their Silk Chiffon Polka Dot Tunic ($122.50, orig. $245, pictured).

“The sandals are our bread and butter; that’s what we’re known for,” Ms. Space shares further as a Jackie O coffee table book stands perched just behind her. Jack Rogers Vintage sandals will be plentiful at the upcoming sale, offering up their notorious Navajo style for as low as $70 (see photos for a couple of examples). These low costing designs of the famous shoe will be available in over 150 unique colors. They aren’t samples, per say, but rather older models returned from various stores, as well as low-number runs that were being stored in their warehouse.

Some items on the racks are totally worthwhile as they can definitely be utilized not only in the upcoming fall months, but also during chilly summer nights or breezy days on the beach as well.  Among these items include the adorable Hooded Front Cashmere Pocket Top ($100, orig. $195, pictured), the Coral Cashmere Wrap ($100, orig. $225, pictured) and last but not least, the gorgeous Tie Neck Silk Blouses ($100, orig. $265, pictured).
