WHY: As Fashion Week comes to a close, it’s time to PURGE and make room in your closet for Fall. Hester Street Fair team is raiding the most coveted closets as we bring back Manhattan’s most stylish “tag sale”. Stylists, designers, retailers and fashion insiders will be tagging and dropping off their precious goods, and the Hester Street Fair team is selling it for them, passing on the incredible savings to you!
For one weekend only, September 13th & 14th, you get to raid some of New York’s finest closets—think of all those photos shoots, editor’s closets and sample sale finds that you’ll finally have access to! The Stylist Tent Event will bring over 20 Fashion Insiders under one roof, with plenty of food from HSF vendors to fuel that shopping madness. Plus, we’ll have a live DJ set by a Special Guest DJ. It’s a full on Fall Fashion Fling! Gates open at 11am, may we suggest you get there early?

0 WHAT: Bedford + Bowery Bazaar
WHY: Hester Street Fair will host a Bedford + Bowery Bazaar on Saturday, August 31st.
New York mag’s downtown Manhattan/north Brooklyn neighborhood blog hosts its first fair, replete with local food and retail stars, including P&H Soda Co., OddFellows Ice Cream, Campbell Cheese & Grocery, In God We Trust, and more.
From noon to 6:30 p.m., Tørst will descend from “the top of the city’s craft-beer scene” to serve some beers never before tasted in Manhattan (we hear they’re also bringing a grill) — and then good ol’ Brooklyn Brewery will work the night shift, starting with a happy hour of free beer at 6:30 p.m.
That’s not all: Bushwick’s (and New York’s) best dance club, Bossa Nova Civic Club, will be putting some of its favorite DJs on the decks, and food makers like P&H Soda and Oddfellows (home of foie gras ice cream) will be debuting new menu items and flavors.
