Yes, we're all taught that it's the beauty within that matters and that is certainly true. However, that does not change the fact that the human race instinctively judges another person before introductions even take place. It's who we are and is deeply ingrained in us.
As a result, many who invest extra time and attention into the clothes they wear and the overall way they present themselves tend to be more successful in life. If your aim is be successful -- to break the ceiling, get the raise you're gunning for or ace an interview -- really put some time, energy and money into your wardrobe.
