What We Saw at The Line Sample Sale on September 18th Right Before Closing:
• Everything is discounted 70% off
• Price tags have only the full retail price on, take the phone with you if your math is not great
• Be prepared to drop a pretty penny, even after the 70% discount prices could be intimidating
• Items from: Altuzarra, Marni, Calvin Klein 205W39NYC, Roland Mouret, Proenza Schouler, Protagonist, Gabriela Hurst, Dolce & Gabbana
• No handbags left, but a nice collection of shoes from Tabitha Simmons, Manolo Blahnik, Alumnae, etc.
• Only a few items left from home decor, and no beauty items or gift sets in view
• A small, civilized crowd, polite and brand knowledgeable
• This is a niche sample sale for people who have graduated from the Barney's Warehouse Sale, have (at least some) money and are not afraid to be creative with their style
• There are some good quality basics to be found, but one needs to be size-lucky and persevering
