Refined, yet Relaxed, Elegance

I’m all about frugal finds, and a BCBG dress that’s gone from $250.00 to $125.00 sounds like a pretty good deal. Take a look at this beauty:

Pretty gorgeous, right? Here’s the scoop – well, that’s a bit of a pun. You see, there is no scoop neck on this dress. It features a ruffled bib front. I know the word ‘bib’ conjures up some weird images, none of which that probably seem particularly attractive. But this will look good on you.

For body-conscious girls (and let’s be honest, most of us are) you’ll want to take note of the vertical lines that run over this dress. They automatically elongate the figure. But, you don’t want to lose your waist, and we don’t want that either! Which is why I’ve picked a dress to feature here that offers a tie at the waist that will help define it.

This dress is 65% cotton, and 35% silk. The combination of these materials and the different aspects of the dress make this a balance of feminine chic that is by no means matronly, yet you could wear this somewhere nice.

There are so many possibilities with this dress if you’re willing to think outside the box. Layer it with different sweaters or cardigans, or a broach for different looks.
