0WHAT: Real Simple Pop-up Shop in Rockefeller stands up to Cancer
WHY: Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Real Simple magazine is debuting its first-ever pop-up shop from December 1-6, with the first day featuring Stand Up to Cancer. The pop-up shop will feature the magazine’s trademark gift-giving ideas, tips and solutions for the holidays, while raising funds for cancer research by selling Stand Up To Cancer clothing and jewelry items.
To raise additional awareness for Stand Up To Cancer, Real Simple will sell “Gifts That Give Back” in the pop-up shop, including Stand Up To Cancer hoodies and the “Arrow” Necklace that was designed by Dogeared and SU2C. Reaching out digitally as well, for every person who “checks in” to the pop-up shop via FourSquare on December 1, Real Simple will donate $1 to Stand Up To Cancer up to $500.
