Qi Cashmere on sale 10/25-10/26
Qi’s cashmere–which sells at Saks Fifth Avenue and Barney’s New York for $100 to $350–is on sale for much less at 224W. 35th St nr Seventh Avenue. Ste 1008A (212-239-8880) for two days, 10/25 and 10/26 (10-7). Tomorrow I’ll stop by and give you the scoop on them too. I’ve checked their website www.qicashmere.com and once I overcame some minor technology problems, I learned some interesting things about the founders, Stephanie Qi and Jean Kolloff who created Qi when commuting from Connecticut. I liked the story; I am going to pay them a visit tomorrow.
Oh, and for the few of you out there who think that Qi is some breed of sheep this is what Dictionary.com has to say about Qi:
chi 2 also ch’i or Qi or qi (chē) n. The vital force believed in Taoism and other Chinese thought to be inherent in all things. The unimpeded circulation of chi and a balance of its negative and positive forms in the body are held to be essential to good health in traditional Chinese medicine.
