Put Me in a Bedding Therapy Program Tomorrow, Just Not Today!

It’s very early as I write this, so I hope you can appreciate how great something has to be to make my heart feel as though it’s leaping up in excitement and I hear the wild call of some mythical shopping elf urging me to shop, shop, shop. I’m not really an impulse purchaser, you see. But I was just browsing neimanmarcus.com and I happened up on these Asian Peony Bed Linens by Ann Gish.

I’m of the school that your bed should be as well dressed as you. And my goodness, is this collection nice.

Do you know why I love it? Because it’s girly but not excessively so. It’s modern but not without a hint of playfulness. It’s grown-up, but not something my Grandma would have (although – she does have really good taste). It features printed damask, and I’m a huge fan of damask. And there are a bunch of different textures in this grouping, but of course they all match so you needn’t worry!

There are a million (okay, not exactly a million) piece here that you can mix and match to create your own personal look. And if you just buy a few standout pieces here, you can buy some other pieces, for cheaper, somewhere else. Prices vary, but these are all on sale as an after-Christmas special.

I just bought new espresso-colored sheets to go with a tan duvet cover and some West Elm pillows…but I am tempted…so very tempted to buy some of this…
