Plump It Up

0
7 June 2007

If I tell you that the way lip plumpers work is analogous to a mosquito bite, will you be grossed out? Well, that is the idea in its most basic form, but if you get a good lip plumper, it won’t feel like a mosquito bite. (There’s no sense in puckering up for a Hollywood kiss when you’ve got itchy lips, now is there?) Patricia Wexler’s line for Bath and Body Works makes a very good lip plumper. It will give you that Angelina pout without giving you something to pout about.

Another good option is Freeze 24/7. It gets consistent good reviews on makeupalley.com. It’s also been given great reviews in the New York Times Style section. It makes your limps look plumper and helps fight the signs of aging.

Compared to other lip glosses, lip plumpers are kinda spendy. But keep in mind that other lip glosses don’t serve as an alternative to surgery. Of course, you can always try the most cost effective option, and kiss a beehive.

Yours Truly,

Kyoko
