Opening Ceremony is a portal to discovery, innovation, and inspiration. It celebrates uniqueness in fashion and culture, and creates a dialogue within the global community. The founders, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, decided to open the first OC first store on Howard Street in Soho in 2002 (since then have grown to LA & Tokyo!) after a trip to Hong Kong inspired them to create an experience that brought a sense of adventure, discovery, and fun back to shopping.
