Only Hearts Sample Sale
Attention fall brides: this isn't a bad spot for honeymoon shopping.
0“Is this it?” an incredulous well-dressed woman asked the clerk as we walked into Only Hearts. It’s easy to see why she was dubious. In contrast to a traditional sample sale, the Only Hearts “sample sale” seemed to consist of a tiny rail of sleepwear, another small rack of dresses, and ten or so bins of camisoles and underwear. Though the listing promised 80% discounts, most of the items didn’t seem to be such steep deals.
A navy jersey dress festooned with white polka-dotted hearts is truly adorable, but at $80 (marked down from $160), still a bit steep for a frock that looks like something that would cost $17 at Forever 21. A pair of matching undies can be yours for $10, a more reasonable price. The selection of $10 undies is, in fact, legion, with a good assortment of sizes available. Bras, however, are few and far between, though what there is is cute: a black mesh bralette covered in black hearts is $21 from $43 and a Christina of Vancouver cherry-colored bralette is one of the best deals at $34 from $80. The deals might not be nuts, but it’s still a worthy destination for those looking to stock up on their sexytime wardrobes. Attention fall brides: this isn’t a bad spot for honeymoon shopping.
