NYC Women Ignore Rules, Tone Legs

Ah, National Bike Week. That was last week. And I forgot to bike. (Even though I got a reminder.) Which is an actual shame, because I want to take advantage of good weather. Plus, there is the fact that actual bikes are more fun than stationary bikes, no matter what the gym has on TV. So let’s not conform in life, especially to any rigid deadlines for biking. You can bike well into early fall. The only question is, what will you wear? That, my friends, is where I come in.

What to look for are comfy shorts, capri’s, and floaty tops or shirts. Longer sundresses can also work, but you’ll just need to be more careful when maneuvering. I don’t know if I’d trust myself. I’d hate to fall over (which would be dramatically in slow-motion) and flash everyone. But that does sound like something Paris Hilton would enjoy doing. Not that she probably has the coordination to ride a bike.

Even better? The stuff you want to wear right now, even some of the best trends? They’re actually on sale.
