New York Dog Sample Sale

With what seems like hundreds upon hundreds of sample sales taking place these days, sometimes it’s nice to take a break from self-indulging (a short one of course!) and shop for others. The New York Dog sample sale, which started yesterday, December 9th and goes through Saturday the 13th, caters to all those four-legged friends in your life who deserve nothing but the absolute best.

After traveling up a vintage elevator, the door opens directly to a brightly lit room, filled with fashion forward canine goodies from the floor to the ceiling. I was incredibly impressed with the amount of product they have, and the prices which were marked down, well below wholesale. Sweaters, raincoats, jackets, dog carriers, toys, plush dog beds, leashes and collars galore are available in all sizes, colors and finest fabrics.

The showroom is very organized and they have plenty of friendly faces available to answer any questions you or your little pooch might have. (Yep, you ready correctly…dogs are of course welcome at the sale, and encouraged to try on pieces to ensure a perfect fit!)

One wall, features a wide variety of dog carriers that are perfect for traveling or just toting your dog around with you on your day-to-day activities. On top of the incredible prices, there is an additional special that runs all week, if you buy one tote you get the second one at half price.

Being that I have 2 loves of my own, I couldn’t help myself but to stock up on some great holiday gifts. I left with a doggie bag filled with a beautiful leather collar, a lime green “fuzzie wuzzie” dog toy and a great blue Frisbee adorned with a bright red plush bone. Sure to be a hit with the pups!

Overall I’d give this holiday sample sale four paws up! It is absolutely worth the trip for any dog lover who knows it’s not just important for you to look ultra chic, but your best friend to be fashionable as well.
