WHY: Party girls aren’t the only ones who can pull off Nanette Lepore’s feminine threads; her flirty garb is surprisingly wearable. Tweed double-breasted coats are lowered from $628 to $230, sequin wrap dresses are sliced from $448 to $140, and cropped military jackets are $190 (as opposed to $398).

Sale was pretty typical of Nanette Lepore sample sales. They do not ask you to check your coat or bag so everyone walks around with their things. It can get crowded and hot in the isle. They only accept cash for purchases $20 or less, so keep that in mind. The had a nice shoe selection and a really nice collection of sweaters. There were hardly any coats or jackets this year. A nice range of sizes again. They also have a small table with jewelry and handbags, which I think is the first time I have seen this. I go every year and always do well, if you like Nanette Lepore, its worth the trip. No line to get in, no line for dressing room.
