Much Like Cinderella, You Need to Scrub
, New York, NY

I may not have liked that TLC song that reigned ultra-supreme on TRL in the 90’s about ‘scrubs’ but I do like to scrub myself. Does that sound weird? If it does, then clearly you haven’t been doing your own scrubbing. Which is a problem, because I don’t want to think about the dry skin accumulating on areas of you. I’ll be honest, it has an ick factor. The only thing more ick than doing it? Not doing it.
LIP SCRUB: I can’t stop hearing about the Laura Gellar Lip Strip Cooling Sugar Scrub ($16.00) at Sephora. At first I was very wary, images of leg wax strips on my lips is not pleasing. But it’s nothing like that.
BODY SCRUB: You can get the the Trish McEvoy #6 Body Scrub ($18.00) at Neiman Marcus, or you can splurge for the Trish McEvoy Body Polish #9 Sugar Scrub ($48.00) also at Neiman Marcus. But don’t go silly – no reason to have both. I mean, unless you want to. 😉
FACE SCRUB: Try the Billy Jealousy Sucker Punch Face Scrub ($18.00) at Barneys New York. It has Tahitian black sand! I’ve never had the urge to have some of that (let alone on my face), but now I feel like I have to get my hands on it. That’s not weird, okay?
Get scrubbin’, ladies.
As for your hair, even European girls agree with New York girls – nourish it!
Much love,
Sofia
