Look Great, Spend Less! Free Estee Lauder Bonus from Macy's
Right now Estee Lauder is offering a bonus gift at Macy’s if you spend $26.50. Free makeup is always a good deal, that’s a personal life motto of mine. Estee Lauder is a company that always does great bonus offers. Although I am in my mid-twenties and the brand is geared for a bit more mature demographic, I can’t deny good quality. I have several Estee Lauder items in my makeup bags. (Yes, bags, I have lots of makeup! My vanity is practically overflowing. I love it that way.)
So, what should you buy to get your free gift? Well, I’ve come armed with suggestions! I love, love, love, their eye shadows. The Estée Lauder Pure Color EyeShadow ($17.50) in Tea Biscuit is the perfect anytime shadow. If I want to look polished but casual, I wear it all over my lids. A tiny bit of sheen on it reflects light and makes me look naturally flawless (which I never mind!) and pretty. It’s also a great color to use with a dark brown in your crease. For a medium shimmery brown, Cinnamon is very popular. Chocolate is
great as a darker highly-pigmented brown color (and Dove Chocolate is really good to eat — but I digress). I love to highlight my brow bone, so I also feel compelled to recommend Sugar Cube.
For a long-lasting and ultra-creamy lip liner I reach (clumsily, if it’s early in the morning) for an Estée Lauder Artist’s Lip Pencil ($18.50). I put it on and then dab on some lip balm. For more glamour, I break out some lip gloss. But let’s be honest, if you have long hair (as I do) lip gloss is a hazard on any day there’s even a slight breeze.
I’ve heard no end of praises about the Estée Lauder BlushLights Creamy CheekColor ($25.00) in Plum Light. When I look at it online it looks dull, like something I’d want to pass over. But I’ve seen it in action, and it gives my friends an enviable ‘I’m not wearing makeup, I’m just gorgeous’ look. You can apply this in the dark and still look great. How often can you make that claim?
