Lemonade Stand

The lazy, hazy crazy days of summer are upon us. Now I spend all my summers in a climate controlled office, staring at a computer or listening to the hysterics of one of my clients. But when I was younger I used to sit in the shade on my grandmother’s front porch, reading a book, listening to the buzzing of the cicadas and drinking lemonade. There’s nothing like a glass filled with cold, sweetened lemon juice to make you feel as if summer will never end. But there is something that is just as good.

Philosophy makes a line of products called “Philosophy Lemonade”. It includes a salt scrub, a body butter, a 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath, and a lemonade flavored lip gloss. Whether you’re showering post-work or post-beach, this line of products will definitely feel as if summer will always be here!

I use the 3-in1 as shower gel, since 3-in1s don’t usually make the best bubble bath. The bubbles dissolve too quickly. But as a shower gel, its fantastic. Of course, since I love scrubs, I love to rub myself down with the scrub and then put on the butter after my shower, to keep that fresh lemon scent going. If only I had someone to squeeze me!
