Would you believe that people come in from out of state just for a $6 sandwich? Well, they do, when they go to Karam Restaurant in Bay Ridge. Karam serves Lebanese staples such as Shawarma sandwiches, shish kebabs, yogurt salad and babaghabouj at $6.00 per sandwich, and $5.00 for a plate of babaghanouj. I sometimes go to Brooklyn just to get one of these sandwiches. The place is a hole in the wall, so its not somewhere you would take a date, but it is great if you’re jonesing for some cheap delicious takeout.
