WHY: Jane Mayle left tons of Manhattanites, including us, heartbroken when she discontinued Mayle, her easy, breezy line of hip clothes, and shut down her Nolita store in 2009. Now she’s back and teaming up with high-end shoe brand Sigerson Morrison to sell her fall 2010 capsule collection, Kamikaze Full of Love, at the uptown Sigerson Morrison Laboratory Boutique. Go gaga over military-inspired cropped wool coats ($765), floral-printed silk blouses with ruffles ($465) and silk frocks with neck-ties ($525). Or splurge on a pair of Mayle for Sigerson Morrison limited-edition booties (the style comes in two versions: heels or flats) with fringe and grommet details ($550).
