I recently was given the chance to attend my very first New York City sample sale, with my excitement boiling and my credit card cluched in my hand, i had no idea what was in store for me. The Ittiere Showroom first of all is AMAZING, its over looking Battery park and the river, but once inside the excitement only increased. With famous labels such as Gianfranco Ferre, Just Cavalli and John Galliano, the collections were outstanding and beautiful. Most of the collections were 90% off and all of the handbags were 70% off! With dresses and cahsmere sweaters from $150 from Malo, the bargins could not be beat! I definately give this sample sale a 10 out of 10!

THIS JUST IN! Why was the sale so well priced? IT Holding SpA said late Thursday it had reached a nonbinding agreement with China’s Mensun Lttd., concerning “a possible disposal of assets” belonging to the Italian fashion group.
IT Holding owns the Gianfranco Ferre, Malo and Exte brands and operates under license the Just Cavalli, Costume National C’N’C and Galliano labels. This piece of news might explain the cause of discounts aat this sample sale.
