How Do You Show Your Charm? Try This!

Charm bracelets and charm necklaces are a constant source of fashionable style. Chanel, Michael Kors, Juicy Coutureand Coach have all made charming pieces of jewelry with charms that didn’t come as a prize in a cereal box! Charms have truly been updated for Fall 2008.

Admit it, you had a charm bracelet or necklace while you were a little girl. I did. Several, actually. I had some nice ones, but my favorite one was an inexpensive candy-colored necklace with plastic beads in the shape of stars, hearts, and moons that hung down. I remember it vividly, there were small white beads as filler, and the main charms were purple, pink and teal. I loved this necklace so much that I slept in it one night.

Still, I was surprised when it was stretched out and then broke the next morning. That taught me a valuable lesson about never sleeping in my jewelry. (It would be years later when I learned to never sleep in my mascara.)
