Just got off the phone with the Pavilion, had a hard time getting to speak with anyone. Left a message, as soon as I hear back from them I will let you know waht the the hours are. I am heading there anyway…Mirela

So we didn’t get in yesterday at the coveted Hermes Sample Sale. I will do something new: speculate on what could be inside. Well, based on what they had last year they will most likely have: men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, the label’s signature colorful scarves, perfumes, fashion jewelry small leather goods (wallets, belts?), and select canvas and leather bags.
We seriously doubt there will be any Birkins

Plan on a three hour wait, so bring a book. Play fair, please don’t crash this line. Security will stop you, if the crowd doesn’t. In addition to scarves and ties, there are Hermes scents and an assortment of cute bangles. Totes and small leather goods, shoes and clothes, no Birkins.

Silk scarves – nice selection this year – from two or three seasons ago and older are 40% off; ties are $98 each – helpful salespeople look for patterns in other colors. Fragrances are 75% off – great fragrance gift sets are included in the sale. Piles of belts. Cuffs in small and large sizes – not sure of the % discount. Clothes in smaller sizes only.
