Heidi Klum by Jordache, Only at bloomingdale's

Heidi Klum is a powerful name (not just because it’s German) and Jordache is a powerful brand. Put the two together and you’ve got Hedi Klum by Jordache, found exclusivley at one of the TheVogueCity.com favorite stores: bloomingdale’s. The collection features denim jeans that have the rare quality of being both sexy and endlessly wearable (read: comfortable).

Klum designed these pieces not just with style in mind, but with the idea of a functional lifestyle. She knows that none of us sway around town in skintight red evening gowns and satin elbow gloves, no matter how fun that might be. Because she’s a mother who knows the busy demands of daily life, I have faith that she has delivered quality pieces, not just ‘pretty’ ones. You can certainly wear ‘pretty’, but sometimes ‘pretty’ gives you blisters and renders you unable to breathe properly. You won’t have that problem with these items. What a perfect reason to go shopping!

I love Klums’ logo:

Below: Heidi Klum by Jordache Women’s Heidi Tee with Rhinstones ($58.00) and Women’s Sapphire Blue Elli Bootcut Jeans ($149.00). The shirt isn’t my thing, but maybe it’s yours? Me likey the jeans.

Below: Heidi Klum by Jordache Women’s Short Sleeve Ruffle Blouse – perfect under a cardigan for the Fall romantic blouse trend ($165.00) and Women’s Coated Blue Sequin Skinny Jeans ($189.00). I will admit I was afraid of these jeans at first, but they don’t actually have sequins plastered all over on them, thank God.

Have any of you guys been to Pippin Vintage, right here in NYC? There was a picture of it in Lucky, and I really loved the image that I clipped it out for inspiration (rosy walls, dark wood, oriental walls). They do have a website, although it doesn’t seem to have much you can look at. But it’s worth clicking into to see the cute little dog, which parks when you mouse over it. Alexis, how cute is this? Much love,
