Halloween Fashion at Screaming Mimi's
WHAT: Halloween Fashion at Screaming Mimi’s
WHY: Destination vintage shop Screaming Mimi’s has been a treasure trove of highly-curated vintage costumes, headdresses, and masks for fashionable New Yorkers dressing up for Halloween since the 70’s. This year, owner Laura Wills has called upon rising star designers Savannah Wyatt, Debra Tigerlily Lin, and Theresa Dapra to curate customized “Enchanted Forest” themed costumes for the shop’s customers and fans.
The show-stopping collection includes a whimsical woodland fairy, a glamorous witch, a fantasy huntsman, and dramatic raven headdresses. Prices range from $65 for a mask, to $495 for the full four-piece fairy costume.
The Enchanted Forest collection is available at Screaming Mimi’s now, however New Yorkers can find a private penthouse of designer and specialty garments as well as high-end vintage at great prices all year long.
