Haircuts 4 Less!

It doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg to get your hair done. There are plenty of places in NYC that will give you a new ‘do for $50 or less. Try Astor Place Hair where haircuts start at $18 for short hair and $20 for long hair. Another good option is Panyc, where the you’ll pay $55 the first time you visit and $45 from then on. Another great way to save on hair styles is to go to a hair school. The famed John Frieda offers haircuts for just $35, on Wednesdays at 6 pm (call ahead of time, of course). Aveda offers the same thing for $20. Call to book an appointment or walk-in at 9:30 or noon on Wendesday through Saturday. If you’re really strapped for cash, go to Empire Beauty School, where if you’re shorthaired you’ll pay just $8.32. If you’ve got long hair you’ll have to add five dollars to that total, but $13.32 for a haircut is a deal to be sure.
