Give The Gift That Won't Be Re-Gifted

We are not all lucky enough to get the coolest gifts during the holidays. Whether we like it or not, we must smile when Grandma sends us over  her hand made sweaters, or  Mom and Dad give us the safer  version of the  item we’ve  always wanted,  or  the loved one  gives us…. nothing.  Chances are that we won’t be getting Christian Louboutin’s in our stockings this year, nor will we be getting that new Blackberry with a touch screen that’s way cooler than the iPHONE I didn’t get last year.  This may be because it is really hard to get people the gifts that they want and decipher what will be deemed useful by them.  Truth is, when we don’t have a gifting plan and a buying strategy, we often wind up getting the worst gifts. That is why we have prepared some ideas for your gifts that we hope we’ll get you on the best gift givers list in your family and among your friends.

Gadget Lover: Know someone who has a collection of gadgets?  Well, there are probably a few they’ve missed.  Add to their collection this year something COOL and USEFUL.  This is not the year for gadgets without use.  For electronically obsessed,  buy the  CallPod’s Chargepod. This will allow them to charge every electronically mobile device they have in their apartment without causing the octopus of cables and plugs to explode! For those who can’t possibly live without their cell phone and PDA’s, make sure they are not left without their security blanket!  What if their phone disappeared?  Make sure they backed up their precious info with the Backup Pal! It’s like a hard drive for cell phones! For the fashion savvy computer geek,   spice up their computers with ultra chic accessories. Food Lover: Who doesn’t love food? There are many great healthy and unique options out there; organic olive oil from Amarilla Deronda or decorated goat cheese from Harley Farms (that also delivers) that just might be too pretty to eat.
