French Sole Sample Sale

WHY: French Sole, originator of the ballerina flat, first opened its tiny shoe shop in 1989 on the Upper East Side. Now you can snag some of its fashionable flats at major discounts. Mesh-and-patent-leather slingbacks are slashed from $220 to $109, fabric ballerina styles with leather piping are cut from $180 to $89, and embroidered floral designs are $109 (were $220).
