Free People Sample Sale Review 1/27

A sample sale that sells actual samples from this season, at sample prices? Where I can get the Voluminous Embroidered Sweater, a new arrival at Free People for $20, rather than $148! That is a sale to brave this winter weather for! The Free People Sample Sale hosted by Prive at the Chelsea Market is a hit if you are a fan of the label. There are plenty of tops for $20 each, sweaters, cardigans, jackets for $35, only two racks of dresses for $30, two racks of coats for $45,and one rack of bottoms for $20, (mostly size 26 and xsmall). Well, the whole Free People sale had mostly x-smalls. If you are a small or medium, you are in luck, since many of the samples ran larger. There were almost no accessories for sale. Which is too bad, as I love Free People accessories. There were a few boxes of fringe style boots for $40-60.

Other designers, with one to four racks each: Luna- tops $29-39, dresses $59-69; JBbrand Houlihan Cargo Leggings and Agnes Moto-zip leggings are $119, Blue Viper wash leggings are $99; all Laundry coats are $99, Julie Brown tops and bottoms are $39, dresses $59; Love Sam tops are $50 each., Walter clothing is all 70% off retail.

Thank goodness most everything was Free People, and that it was from this past fall, and current seasons (including some spring items). I saw the Long Sleeve Tie Cardigan, Watercolor Floral Scrunch Skirt, Heart on Your Sleeve Thermal, Snowbells Tunic, and Treasured Days Cardigan just to mention a few. I bought a couple of things I am happy with. It is a great sale. They said they may restock merchandise this weekend, but they are NOT lowering prices at all. So, don’t wait too long. There were very few people when I was there today at noon, but as the snow was clearing,people started pouring in. The makeshift dressing room, with racks and mirrors, was starting to fill up. I think you will find at least one thing you can wear, and some stuff for your younger sister, or cousin.
