[WWD] reports that due to a lawsuit, many retailers are giving out free beauty products. Don’t get too excited; I waited an hour in line for one Lancome mascara that was…. a sample size. [WWD]

The lines at Macy’s moved pretty quickly (15-20 minutes in a line that wrapped around two corners of their full block department store). They had run out of all the perfumes that second day of course but I got a good sized bottle of body lotion by Chanel (Coco Mademoiselle) – not the full $45 size sold at Macy’s (actually half the size) but still I thought $22 worth of free product was a great deal.
