WHAT: Fashion Girls for Humanity Sandy Relief Sample Sale

WHY: Fashion Girls for Humanity are hosting a two-day designer sample sale to benefit communities affected by hurricane Sandy. 100+ designers and 100+ rolling racks of merchandise. Designers including 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander McQueen, Theyskens’ Theory, Proenza Schouler, DVF, Thakoon, Yigal Azrouel, and Vena Cava and more will donate ‘one rolling rack’ of their clothing. All items will be offered at 50% or more off the retail price.

Fashion Girls for Japan first appeared in 2011 to raise funds for disaster relief. The group has re-branded itself Fashion Girls for Humanity, and are returning to host a special holiday sale to benefit communities who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. A 100% volunteer-based organization, the group has raised over $400,000 in 2011 and 2012. click here for more details
