(Eco)mpassion Sale

Do you wish you could be high fashion, but would rather spend the money helping others? Then the (Eco)mpassion sample sale is your shopping dream. It is fashion with a conscience. Not only were many of the clothes made from eco-friendly materials like the Ryann tank top made of hemp and bamboo, but 5% of the proceeds of the sale are being donated to plant trees. When you finished your shopping experience, you got to have your picture taken with a sign telling you how many trees would be planted from your purchase. Another way the (Eco)mpassion sale helped you give back was by selling $20 bottled water, the proceeds of which went to cleaning drinking water for those in need. The markdowns were phenomenal on brands like T-bags, Caravan and Rebecca Taylor. There was also a small section of men’s clothing by Steven Allen. Prices ranged from $12 to about $100 per item. While the space was cramped, the deals found on the rack made it worth while. Unlike many other sample sales, the range of sizes was great.

For those of you who don’t like to carry cash, there was a minimum of $100 on charge but there were plenty of gorgeous items making that an easy mark to hit! So go on, don’t feel bad, shop and give back all at once!
