A few days ago on NPR, I was listening to a financial segment that discussed an increase in consumer spending despite trepidation regarding the economy. The host had a few finance/shopping experts on the air who marveled at the sudden spending increase that all these retailers had reported. They found it somewhat odd since most people still claimed they were cautious when it came to economical stability. According to the experts, though, it is the warmer weather prompting people to get out and buy!
