Do You Have a Backless Bra? Compare These!
, New York, NY
When I was a junior in high school my history class was told we needed to invent something – anything. I was paralyzed by the thought. I panicked, and while I spent a lot of time thinking about the task, I never completed it. I shamefully faked sick so I wouldn’t be there the day we had to turn them in and present them. Stupid, I know! Well, there’s one woman who would have aced that task.
Her name is Elaine Cato, and she created the Backless Bra. She worked with Maidenform, and now you can buy the Maidenform® Breakthrough™ Backless Bra for only $32.00 at Macys.
Perfect for: Anyone who wants to wear a backless shirt/dress. If you’re busty – no worries. It will support you. In fact, this bra does wonders in the area of support. No slumping – you’ll be lifted properly.
Does it work?: Most women say ‘yes’. The reviews on Macys are skewed towards the positive, saying it stayed put.
There is another option I found. The Donna Karan Solutions Backless Contour Bra ($56.00) at Bloomingdales. I trust this brand name, although I’m not as crazy about this particular bra. You see, it isn’t exactly a backless bra. It has all of those confusing straps that go everywhere but your back. You may know it the name as a ‘Convertible Bra‘.
I’ve never worn one because they don’t seem that great to me. But if you can’t trust the Backless Bra, this version has a low back strap that might make you feel more secure. Feeling secure is important – no one wants to bounce out of their top.
Much love,
Sofia
