Decadent New Beauty Products for: Lips, Face, Skin

What will they think of next? Hopefully a way to eliminate all horrible reality TV from the world. While I’m busy working on that plan, Shu Uemura has created a treat for your lips. It’s called Rouge Unlimited Crystal Shine. They website says it is ‘groundbreaking’ and that, “formula melts onto lips and is activated by the lips’ natural temperature, wrapping them in a delicate veil of comfort.” Doesn’t sound at all bad. The hardest part might be picking just one color. It’s not a lipstick, it’s not a lip gloss, it’s something new…and yes, I want it. And I think I want it in ‘Pink 313’, or ‘Pink 301’, or ‘Beige 941’, or ‘Wine 246’… Do I really have to pick just one?

Speaking of things I suddenly WANT…have you seen the Guerlain Meteorites Pearls Compact? There are three color options, and whichever you pick aims to basically do everything you want your skin to have done to it. That means concealing imperfections, getting your skin to glow, and dealing with pesky dark circles under the eyes. Options: Beige Lumineux (shown below), Mythic Parfait and my favorite, Pink Frais.

Cate Blanchett is the face for SK-II because she’s loved their products forever. (And I’m sure they’re paying her, that always helps.) Saks has a page of Cate’s Favorites. You may not want to opt for just one product at the high prices they come at, instead try the ‘Cate Blanchett’s Essentials Collection’ so you can try a variety.

Find what you love the MOST and then buy that in a full bottle. Or hey, maybe you’ll want to buy them all. The line is getting HYPE, HYPE, HYPE, and Saks has devoted several pages (even a video) dedicated to SK-II. Blanchett doesn’t strike me as a liar, and for what they’re charging – I’m thinking this stuff must be really GOOD.
