0Top shoe designer Cole Haan has paired up with Nike Air to create something that fashionistas have secretly longed for for decades: high heels with a high fashion look and the comfort of a sneaker. Impossible? Not so. The Cole Haan Nike Air marriage has produced a lovely array of offspring: pumps, slides, wedges, boots, mary janes, sling backs and even flats, with the heart and sole of a sneaker. Podiatrists everywhere will soon be filing for bankruptcy. (They’re not real doctors anyway, right? Just kidding! We love podiatrists!)
This trend of foot friendliness that started earlier this year seems to be really catching on! Wedges, ballet flats–it’s about time we started to appreciate the foot, the thing that gets us to the places we need to go every day. And what better way to appreciate your foot than with a comfortable pair of shoes? I say embrace the pro-foot movement! Si, se puede! LOL.
