Chloe & Reese Samples Sale

Well that was awkward. The Chloe & Reese Sample Sale, situated in the back room of their Midtown office, is going on now through Thursday evening. Note to shoppers: Go during after work hours (i.e. 5-7PM)! I waltzed in the office around 10AM only to interrupt a meeting between designer Annmarie Scotto-Dinan and her associate. While she was pleasant and happy to have me there, no bargain hunter wants to have to scoot around the designer herself, sifting through her hard work in hopes of finding a good buy. Good thing these dresses were awesome, otherwise there may have been a problem given my inability to lie.

The summer dresses were individually priced, ranging from $160 and up. Well-tailored mini dresses are those you may see on a bridesmaid or even a young celebrity during a summer red carpet appearance. Getting hitched next July? Bring your maid of honor!

Also available were fantastic skirts (I had my eye on one floral pencil skirt in particular, priced at $120) that you would be able to get away with in the fall. Speaking of, samples of their fall jackets are also available with a small discount, at the same time they hit the shelves (around $250).

Unfortunately I didn’t see any of the advertised $30 dresses left on the rack, but depending on what you are looking for it still may be worth your while!
