Butterflies, Sea Urchins, and Espresso? Come See This Home Decor

DVDs, Please:
If you do a lot of traveling, I can’t think of anything better than a portable DVD player. I am absolutley addicted to my favorite TV shows (Heroes, Pushing Daisies, How I Met Your Mother….), and am always getting DVD box sets, or borrowing them from my friends. Plus – movies. Netflix would be my BFF if it was, you know, a person. Did you know that Bewitched is out on DVD now? Not the bad movie with Nicole Kidman (Sorry Nicole, you know I love you) but the old black and white series. Think about it, you could have a Bewitched marathon while you fly to Roma!

Pretty Accents:
Knobs! Anthropologie has tons of knobs! For drawers, you know? It really depends where you want to put them, but since I have dark wood (don’t expect me to know the name, okay? I’m not a road scholar) I gravitate towards light-colored knobs that will pick up on color I already have in my room.

Sealife:
I’ve come to realize that sea urchins are not as creepy as I thought. They’re actually pretty cool. You need to go to the website and use the ZOOM feature to see how these baubles resemble intricate beading/pearls. Seriously unique. It almost seems vintage-y, which lets me feel like I’m the heroine in a Victorian novel, trapped in her boudoir…or something. Keira Knightly and Kate Winslet better watch out for me.

Additionally, Mirela is moving and I think a new picture frame would be a nice spruce for a new setting.

A Home for Flora:
Something my friends and I learned early on in our college dorm experiences was that you need to have a vase if boyfriends (or charming potentials) are going to be buying you flowers.
