Be a Lovely Jane Austen Heroine [ Fall 08 Trend: Romantic Blouses ]

You may not be living in a romantic Jane Austen novel, but that not might be so bad. After all, you get to have things like TiVo and Apple Martini’s. And whether you’re on your couch or at a restaurant, you can don one of my personal favorite current trends for this fall: the romantic blouse. Floatey, flouncey, sheer, or silk – they’re all feminine and elegant.

Plenty romantic blouse options will look pretty layered under a leather jacket. If you remember I posted about the big leather jacket trend earlier. The Linda Lee Johnson Salome ring from this post would pair well with the DVF champagne blouse. And of course, we love lace-up booties to wear with almost every outfit these days.
