A buyer’s remorse cure-all

Those suffering from a bad case of buyer’s remorse take heed because you may be doing your body some good. The New York Times recently diagnosed that those who are overly thrifty in the present oftentimes end up regretting their penny pinching ways years later. Now don’t take that to mean that a spree at Moss is in order! You can splurge a bit but just keep in mind key investment pieces like the following recession-friendly items that’ll be sure to prevent a future case of saver’s remorse.

Four Poster Bed at Anthropologie
Okay, so $699.95 for a bed isn’t exactly cheap! But when you consider its original $1,898 price tag, it’s a total steal especially for a king bed. Just keep thinking forward and about how excited you’ll be each morning rising up and off this bedroom statement piece.

Puppy at CB2
For the art lover in you, this puppy sculpture technically doubles as eye candy and a kiddie seat but if you visited the Met this fall, you know it’s really an excuse to have a Jeff Koons-esque piece for only $100.

Mid-Century Sofa at Urban Outfitters
This 1960s Danish-inspired piece comes constructed with an eco-friendly hardwood frame so you can stay green while splurging on this classic piece.

Hive Side Table at CB2
Try the new wired décor trend without making a huge financial commitment with these hand-woven iron sculpted side tables for a punch of color at only $45.

So be sure to browse décor faves like Anthroplogie and CB2 twice daily for steals and come see me in two weeks for a follow up!

Great post Wendy! I LOVE the puppy from CB2, though if it had ears it would be a bit more convincing . Regardless it is awesome!
